My family and I hit LEGO KidsFest tonight for the first night of the Indy stop! We had a wonderful time and were kept super busy the entire length of our stay!

We grabbed a map online and talked about all the stations you can see. I wanted my kids to make sure they did their favorites early on and then could come back to them if we had time.
Bring a bag for your swag! There are lots of free magazines, posters, booklets and even a free Chima set if you create a cool addition to the Creation Nation! Other LEGO sets can be won by participating in a LEGO Challenge.

There are places for building with all your LEGO favorites including Chima, Friends, Star Wars, Hero Factory, Ninjago, and more. My boys love the Racing Ramps where you create a car and race it down the ramps!

If you are there for the entire session (4 and a half hours) you may want a snack! They had some food available for purchase there. Honest Kids is there with samples and other local Indy favorites are there set up with tables as well.

We visited the Marketplace but be sure to set up your family's rules before taking them through all the shiny new boxes of LEGO sets, keychains, minifigs, holiday sets, etc.

We loved everything LEGO KidsFest had to offer from the giant brick pile to the special displays of some awesome kid created designs - we'll be sure to check out Nashville in 2015!!!
